Cindy K. Nanton is a seasoned paralegal professional with over twenty years of experience across law firms, in-house legal departments, and government service. She currently serves as a Paralegal II in the Tort Division of the New York City Law Department, Pleadings & Representation Group, where she is responsible for reviewing and determining requests for legal representation for municipal employees named in civil litigation arising from incidents occurring in the course of their official duties. Her work supports the agency’s commitment to integrity, accountability, and effective legal representation.

Cindy holds a dual Bachelor of Arts in Public Justice and Philosophy, with a minor in Forensic Science, from SUNY Oswego, a Master of Arts in Art & Architectural History from Roger Williams University, and a Paralegal Certificate with honors from Hofstra University School of Law. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strengths in legal research, writing, and collaborative problem-solving. Cindy is an active member of NALA and the New York City Paralegal Association and remains committed to professional development, mentorship, and the continued advancement of the paralegal profession.
