The Who What Why How of Paralegal Utilization

Presented by Toni Marsh, Esq., Director of The George Washington University Paralegal Studies Program

Paralegals know that properly utilized, they can make any law firm, law department, or government agency more effective and efficient. Paralegals know that their professional lives are more fulfilling when they perform substantive work and can contribute to their fullest potential.

But many attorneys don’t know they can be using their paralegals more effectively than they are and that if they do, everyone benefits.

This presentation shows paralegals how to make this case to their lawyers: WHO their paralegals really are, WHAT they know and WHAT they can do, WHY they should be using more paralegals to do more substantive work, and HOW to do it right.
