Economic and trade sanctions—a top U.S. foreign-policy tool for the Trump administration—are expected to remain a focus under President-elect Joe Biden. But there could be changes in terms of the overall approach, the focus on particular countries or enforcement priorities. The new year will also bring the end of the transition period in the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union, which will give the U.K. the latitude to diverge from EU sanctions policies.

Join Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, along with specialist lawyers for a conversation on what to expect for sanctions policy under the Biden administration. Attendees will gain an understanding of how companies should adjust their compliance policies and procedures considering the major risks and uncertainties of sanctions policy in coming months.
