Social media is becoming the main tool for communication. According to the Pew Research Center, social networking sites have seen a nearly tenfold jump in the past decade. Many technology thought leaders believe social networking will displace traditional email as the leading communication medium and social media is fast becoming an instrumental workplace tool.
