The Paralegal Get-together "Coffee, Career and Conversation Round Table"

The New York City Paralegal Association is committed to furthering the paralegal profession. To achieve this, we host training events in different areas of law, we reach our to members and followers through our newsletter, the Buzz, and through our presence on Facebook and LinkedIn. Now, we would like to take networking a step further and help paralegals meet each other by facilitating casual get-togethers in a small group in which attendees will discuss their experiences in the profession, and ask questions, and hopefully foster new professional friendships. Isn't this what belonging to a group is all about?

We are organizing our first 'casual paralegal coffee and conversation round-table on June 29 from 6:00 - 8:00 at the popular midtown eatery "Schnippers" - a large and spacious diner/restaurant/café, serving classic American fare..  We are accepting a maximum of 8 guests to start our first meeting, as we would like everyone to have a chance to speak and contribute to the conversation. We will not have reservations with the facility. Everyone can order what they would like to eat and/or drink and is responsible for their own tab, however, to be fair to the establishment, each person should expect to order at least one beverage.

The meeting will be moderated by at least one attending NYC-PA board member, who will facilitate the introductions and the flow, but the idea is to get people acquainted with other paralegal professionals. This is not a social event  but a networking get-together for professional purposes. Our goal is to organize one every other month, and to keep it small.
