Dear Volunteers,

Thank you for volunteering with CUNY Citizenship Now! Our June training had a long waiting list, so we are once again offering a training on the new N-400 Application for Naturalization and our procedures for weekend events.

The goal of the training is to better prepare you to assist participants to complete their applications, to introduce basic concepts of immigration law, and to deepen your understanding of the naturalization process. It is important that volunteers who help people complete the N-400 form receive training on the process to better assist participants.

Space is limited, so please register quickly. Preference will be given to volunteers who have not previously attended an application assistance training.

The training will be conducted by CUNY Citizenship Now! Legal Coordinator Tamara Bloom. Refreshments will be provided.
