Raeann is currently employed mainly as a Trial Paralegal in Asbestos Litigation with Clyde & Co US LLP in Midtown. She is a 2000 graduate of the Norwalk Community College Program in Norwalk, Connecticut and currently lives in Norwalk, Connecticut.

She has been in the legal field for 19 years always as a Paralegal with a wide variety of specialties including Insurance Defense, Medical Malpractice, Real Estate (Commercial and Residential), Corporate, Intellectual Property (Patents, Trademarks, CopyRights and Franchising) in addition to Appellate. She has worked in both New York and Connecticut.

Raeann has been very active in the Paralegal profession…in addition to being Coordinator At Large on the Board of Directors for the New York City Paralegal Association, she is on the Legal Advisory Council, serving in the role of secretary for Norwalk Community College.

In the past she has been a member of the CT Association of Paralegals in many leadership roles, the most recent as Co-President. Also, the CT Bar Association Paralegals Section, other leadership roles in NFPA, the Fairfield County Bar Association Paralegals Committee.

In 2003, Raeann was presented with an Honorable Mention in the Legal Assistant Today “Rookie of the Year” Contest. That same year she presented a workshop on Pro Bono at the NFPA Annual Conference in Newport, Rhode Island. She has recently been featured in a Contracts Textbook published by Prentice Hall. In 2011, Raeann presented at the CT Bar Association Annual Meeting on the subject of Social Media. In 2012, Raeann was one of Paralegal Gateway’s “Paralegal Superstars”. In 2014 she presented 4 IPE CLE seminars in the areas of: Trail Basics for Paralegals: From Start to Finish, Law Office Management, Preparing Evidence & Exhibits for Trial, and Managing Discovery/Document Retention. She also presented at the NYCPA CLE on Trial Preparation for Paralegals and also the Legal Research & Writing CLE. Raeann also presented for NFPA a CLE on Trial Notebooks. She has also presented 4 Lorman CLE webinars in the areas of: Trial Notebooks, Litigation Support for Paralegals (twice) and Advanced Contracts. She is also a speaker for Clear Law Institute and has presented: Litigation Support for Paralegals and Effectively Working with Experts and will be presenting for them, Legal Research & Citation Management and Locating People Online.

In addition to all of her legal affiliations, Raeann also volunteers as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem with CASA/CIP (Children In placement) in Connecticut.  She is also a member of the Oak Hills Park Authority for the City of Norwalk, Treasurer and Voter Services Chairperson for the Norwalk League of Women Voters. Raeann is also a Mentor in the Norwalk Public Schools and a volunteer at the Lockwood Mathews Mansion in Norwalk.
