Marisol Abuin is Chair of the Legal Program within the School of Professional Studies at Berkeley College.  Ms. Abuin’s responsibilities includes supporting the faculty members of the Legal Studies Program, overseeing the hiring of faculty, implementing curriculum, and maintaining academic standards and policies.

Marisol Abuin joined Berkeley College in 1999 as an instructor in the Accounting Department. She later became Director of the Paralegal Studies Department of the White Plains location and then served as Chair of the Professional Studies Department in New York.

Before joining Berkeley College, Ms. Abuin was an adjunct faculty member in the Paralegal Certificate and Legal Nurse Consultant Program at Long Island University, and an adjunct faculty member in the Paralegal Certificate Program at Queens College. She also worked as a Legal Editor in The Thomson Company and as a Senior Tax Consultant in Financial Counseling Services at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, in New York City.

Marisol Abuin holds a Doctor of Law degree from Fordham University School of Law and a BS in Accounting from Fordham College of Business. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Association for Paralegal Education.
