NYCPA is looking to help a good cause and you can be part of the effort!

Join us in contributing to make a group of kids and their parents put smiles on their faces in celebrating HopeLine’s "Logros de la Esperanza 2011/ Achievements of Hope 2011". This event is in celebration of the children and their achievements, as well as the achievements their parents made during the 2010-2011 school year.

In efforts in trying to reach out to communities in help the NYCPA is reaching out to our fellow Paralegal Community, their friends, family and acquaintances to get the future of tomorrow and those working hard to raise them to get ready for the summer and eager to start off the school year.

"The HopeLine is a nonprofit organization located in the South Bronx helping the poor connect to a better life. (www.thehopeline.org)"

We are hoping to collect work related clothing for adults both male and female. We are also looking to collect toys, books in both Spanish and English, clothes and anything that would help a kid who is off from school during the summer time. We are looking to collect items for about 133 children whose age ranges are:

0 to 6 yo: 38

7 yo -12 yo: 66

13 yo - 18 yo: 29

If you would like to contribute directly to the cause please feel free to send your donations of any kind to:

Hopeline

421 East 155th Street
Bronx, NY 10455

Attention: Jairo Guzman

(let them know you’re part of the NYCPA)

I’m hoping to be able to collect any donations you would like to make through NYCPA physically by June 28, 2011 as the actual event is on June 30, 2011. You are all welcome to attend the event and support a good cause helping to empower our immigrant population trying to make a footprint in our communities. For further information feel free to contact Jessica M. Mieles at nfpaprimary@nyc-pa.org
