2016 NFPA Convention Student Workshop – WHAT EMPLOYERS LOOK FOR IN JOB APPLICANTS – October 20, 2016 at The Hilton, Battery Street, Burlington, 2:30 – 4 p.m.


The Student Workshop will feature a panel discussion with human resource professionals moderated by a member of the Vermont Paralegal Organization.  Students will hear from human resource professionals representing employers in the legal, corporate, educational, and non-profit arenas. Topics include what they look for when hiring, what students can do to make themselves more marketable, and other tips on getting the job or advancing careers.
