Recruitment Tips:

  • Take advantage of the Rose Raffle by sharing the news on Facebook; “Want to make this Valentine’s Day unforgettable for your special someone? Join my Walk MS team by registering at http://www.walkmsnyc.org/ and you’ll be entered to WIN A DOZEN RED ROSES!”
  • Don’t be afraid to ask your boss, barista, neighbor, workout buddy, dentist, doorperson, grocery clerk or even that stranger sitting next to you on the subway to join your team!
  • In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, ask each team member you’ve already recruited to invite their “Plus One” to join your team.
  • Host a Valentine’s Day Party and when your guests ask what they can bring, tell them to register for your Walk MS team!
We encourage team members to register at http://www.walkmsnyc.org/. All they have to do is click “register,” choose a walk site, then “join a team.” Don’t forget to make sure they know that our team's name is TEAM NYCPA.

Happy Recruiting!

Once again, we plan to participate in Walk MS. Walk MS 2014 will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2014. We've formed a team for Walk MS because we want to experience a great event and help the National MS Society fund research, advocate for change, and help people with MS. We believe in this cause. Can we count on your support?

Walk MS is a day that brings friends, families, and coworkers together to embrace an important cause. Join us and participate together to make a powerful statement and a real difference for those you care about. Each step we take brings us closer to a world free of MS.

About MS

Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

Join our team!

Your gift helps support cutting-edge research and programs and services for everyone impacted by MS. Ending MS means no one will receive an MS diagnosis again. Every step counts. Every dollar helps. Every connection matters.
