Cynthia Bynum Personal Bio

Cynthia is the principal owner of CJB Management, LLC. As such she supports continuing legal education initiatives for working paralegals and students. Prior to starting this LLC she worked as a contract administrator, paralegal, and in the corporate telecommunication industry.

She graduated cum laude having earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration and Business Information Systems from DeVry University. Cynthia is also a graduate of Emory’s Paralegal Studies Program and obtained her paralegal certification.

Cynthia is an Executive Board Member of the New York City Paralegal Association and past Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee Chairperson for the Gate City Bar Association’s Paralegal Section. Within these roles she has coordinated professional development, state outreach and speakers for events.

Additionally, Cynthia is an alumna and speaker for Emory’s Paralegal Studies Program advising prospective and current students about career progression, internship, continuing legal education and social-networking opportunities available post-graduation.

Her affiliations include the New York City Paralegal Association, Gate City Bar Association, Fordham University, Institute of Paralegal Education (IPE), Emory Alumni Association, DeVry University Alumni Network, and Legal NYC.
