Personal Bio of Channet Jusino
Channet A. Jusino has been working in the legal industry as a paralegal for over 10 years and has specialized in both Family and Corporate Law. Currently, she is a Senior Paralegal in the Office of the General Counsel for the New York Blood Center, Inc., located on the East Side of Manhattan. Her responsibilities as Senior Paralegal include, but are not limited to contract administration/management, litigation support, processing of medical/ employee information subpoenas, training on contract databases, notarizing documents for the CEO & CFO, organizing documentation for audits, preparation of Board of Trustee Meetings and assisting three attorneys, including the Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of NYBC.
Channet graduated from Seton Hall University with an undergraduate degree in both Political Science and English in 2001. In 2007, she received her Masters in Legal Studies with a concentration in Legal Management-Information and Technology, Governance Compliance-Regulations and Intellectual Property from Montclair State University, where she graduated with a 3.95 GPA, being a member of both Alpha Epsilon Lambda and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies.
Channet thrives to be a part of organizations whose mission involves helping others, whether by promoting the donation of blood in her current job or bringing together a group of paralegals to aid them with advancing in the legal industry. She knows that the NYCPA has a lot to offer and will do all she can to continue its efforts of making sure that paralegals working in New York City have just as great or greater an opportunity to excel as professionals in this ever-changing legal environment.
