Andrew Gondolfo Bio
Andrew Gandolfo was born and raised in Astoria, Queens, and is the youngest of three siblings.
He attended St. Francis of Assisi grammar school and went onto Monsignor McClancy High School
in East Elmhurst. Queens.
After graduating McClancy H.S., Andrew went onto Baruch College at CUNY and earned a Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration Degree. Andrew worked in the catering business on the weekends,
a job that he began in high school.
Andrew obtained his first full time job as a clerk in the Mutual Funds Department at Merrill Lynch
and progressed to become its Customer Service Supervisor. While employed at Merrill Lynch, Andrew
enrolled in graduate school as a part-time evening student and earned an MBA from St. John's University
in Executive Management/Finance.
Andrew then started a management training program at Citibank and was selected to be part of its
branch management team.
Andrew continued to add to his business portfolio and chose to get involved in the Insurance industry
after he passed the New York state Life Insurance exam. Andrew also worked in the mortgage line of
business, whereby he met with first time home buyers and prepared loan packages for submission to
underwriters for approval.
For the past 13 years, Andrew has worked in branch management at NY Community bank on Brooklyn.
During his tenure, Andrew passed the NASD Series 6/63 exams to sell Mutual Funds and Variable Annuities.
In 2011, Andrew attended Berkeley College as a part-time evening student and earned a paralegal degree
to pursue a legal career after the downsizing and reorganization of his employer, NYCB bank.
Andrew decided to become a member of the NYC Paralegal Association and was recently elected as
its Treasurer.
After 18 years of marriage, Andrew is the father of 2 boys, ages 17 and 14 and lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.
For his personal enjoyment, Andrew loves to sing and play music on the guitar. He has been an experienced musician in wedding bands, rock bands, and sang in a Doo-Wop group. Besides his love for music, Andrew enjoys sports and reading during his leisure time.
